It was World Midwives day on May 5th. The midwives are important noble health workers and I am particularly passionate about their work of bringing to life and securing that life in place. So many things could go wrong without a midwife, I have some as friends and coworkers. They are not necessarily women but any man or woman trained to deliver pregnant women and also ensure the safety of mother and child is a midwife. They were the savior of the olden Hebrew women. The Hebrew women were known to the Egyptians to have given birth by themselves without the help of a doctor or midwives, however, the real story says that the midwives deceived Pharaoh.
